Colors and Finish
• Want a natural look? Apply oil directly
• Want a different color? Stain first, then seal.
Sealing
• Apply wood oil, polyurethane, or a food-safe finish (for kitchen use)
• Seal all sides, including edges and underside, to prevent warping
• Let absorb for approximately 20 minutes then wipe off any excess with a clean towel. Re-apply as necessary
Daily Care
• Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap
• Wipe up spills and avoid prolonged water contact to prevent water damage
Long-Term Maintenance
• Re-apply oil or finish as needed, depending on usage
• Use cutting boards and trivets to protect the surface
• Small scratches can be lightly sanded and refinished
